全自動玻璃切割機給傳統的玻璃加工方式帶來便利，為企業的人工節約了很多成本。傳統的加工方式由兩個人工上片，玻璃從一個磨邊機出來后由一個人工轉片后進入另一個磨邊機磨邊。進入清洗機清洗后由兩個人工下片，這樣最少需要五個人工的介入，大大增加了企業的勞動成本。加工過程中由于人工介入較多，極易造成玻璃的劃傷，降低了產品的合格率。由于工作環境比較差，特別是夏天的時候，工作環境溫度甚至超過50℃，且由于玻璃較重易滑易碎，在操作人員不小心的時候，容易脫落摔碎，不僅造成財產損失同時也容易使操作人員受到身體傷害。這些問題給企業帶來了不必要的損失，而且給工人的人身帶來了傷害。全自動玻璃下片臺可以幫助企業解決這些問題。一整條的全自動玻璃生產線包括全自動玻璃上片臺，雙邊圓邊機(1#)，轉片臺(直線吸盤型、直線斜輥型、直角型)，雙邊圓邊機(2#)，清洗機和全自動下玻璃片臺組成。玻璃由自動上片臺自動吸片至輸送臺，輸送至1#雙邊圓邊機，玻璃自動定位磨邊后，進入轉片臺將玻璃旋轉90度后快速到達2#雙邊圓邊機，玻璃自動定位磨邊后直接進入清洗機，清洗干燥完成后由全自動玻璃下片臺將玻璃直接放上玻璃架。這樣的全自動生產線簡單、獨立，操作簡單、方便，運行穩定，在企業生產過程中既節約了成本，也提高了工作質量。
